Our team

The team is built in a balanced ratio of specialized researchers, creative young scientists, postdocs, and an experienced technician.

Dr. Galina Sadovska


Long-term collaborator and a key member of the team. Her reseach coveres a wide range of catalyst preparation, structural analysis and analysis of catalytic properties.

She is responsible for i) catalysts based on Perovskites, mixed oxides, M/M-oxo supported catalysts, ii) structural analysis by XRD and UV-Vis, iii) analysis of catalytic activity of N2O elimination catalysts, and iv) kinetic analysis in alkylation and transalkylation acid catalysed reactions.


Dr. Jaroslava Moravkova

Long-term collaborator and a key member of the team. Her reseach coveres a wide range of catalyst preparation, structural analysis and analysis of catalytic properties.

She is responsible for the method of high resolution transmission electron microscopy, the area of nanofiber and hydroisomerization catalysts, and the implementation of smaller research projects in cooperation with external partners.

Dr. Radim Pilar


A key member of the team. He covers a wide range of issues in the industrial synthesis of zeolites and the preparation of catalysts.

He is responsible for i) developing the synthesis of zeolites and transferring laboratory synthesis processes to pilot scale, iii) preparing Fe and Co catalysts and iii) kinetic analysis in the reaction of selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with ammonia.

Dr. Jana Pastvova


Postdoctoral researcher. Her research is focused on the preparation of graphene materials and infrared spectroscopy.


Dr. Dalibor Kaucky


Highly specialized researcher. In the team, he is mainly responsible for the kinetic analysis of hydroisomerization and cracking catalysts.


Dr. Faal Rastegar Seyyedeh Somayeh

Postdoctoral researcher. In the team, she is mainly responsible for the kinetic analysis of alkylation catalysts.

Alena Vondrova


An experienced technician. She collaborates on the solution of research projects.

She realises the kinetic analysis of a number of catalytic reactions, including the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides using hydrocarbons, the decomposition of N2O and the total oxidation of hydrocarbons.
